the daily

the daily watercolor sketch
(it's my routine since early january)
and some days
(like today)
it's the only "productive" thing I do all day
(but regular life is productive too - we all know that)
so, I should say: sometimes, it's the only "fun" thing I do all day

I wish I had added that far right tree that is standing aloof from the others (in the photo)
... I think I'll go do that ...

I commend you for being so focused and continuing to paint once a day- and with such wonderful results!

Very nice little painting. We are going out to the Big Bend area of Tx. and I will be taking my 'plein air' paints and want to try and do several while there. Will take lots of photos too of course, to paint when I return. Love your colors in this little painting too btw.

You may think this is the only thing you get to do in your day but I sort of doubt this to be true. Your daily paintings are sacred marks made to relive at a later date... a legacy to speak softly that you were here and saw beauty. Blessings, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

looks like time very well spent...your watercolors are each so appealing and wonderful

isn't it fun how seeing artwork on the screen makes some things pop to our attention

Your inspiration image is so beautiful with the different shades of brown and green and blue. Very pretty! Love your watercolor and the fact that you are keeping up with it. Happy weekend wishes to you. Tammy

You go girl. happy to know you take a moment, or two for yourself. i, too, always try to find one each day. Of late, the moment hasn't been the "art-filled" moment I planned. That's ok, too. take care....
