end of year school stuff is always that bit harder because I know that sleep ins are so close... we don't start our big break until December but we have the short winter break starting in a week or so which means we are in the end of semester guff here... wish it was end of year though... have a hide in the forest for me too...xx

I think it means you can't see the big picture and are caught up in details.

Whatever.

I'm in the same boat, but don't have the sense to stop hanging out on the computer to calm down and get stuff done.

Whatever it means, you'll figure it out. We went through that last month. For some reason in the South it happens a lot earlier. Hmm.
See you after the re-charge :-)

The art that you are showing for this post is intriguing. It looks like an encaustic wax painting or batik. I just love it.

Nothing better than spending time looking at the woods and not only the trees!
Have fun, relax and recharge. The woods will work their magic I'm sure.
Maybe even hug a tree ;D

My last weeks of school were crazy busy. Today was my first full day of the summer holiday and I was so, so happy. Though walking at 10 am in 100 degree heat probably wasn't a good idea. :/ Good luck getting through these last day. Best wishes, Tammy

So glad another Elizabeth (the one without Bleubeard) was able to explain what it means, because I've heard that saying all my life and never knew what it meant.

I have no end of school stuff, but feel a real tug on my time at the moment. Thanks for putting all this in perspective.

I remember how mad and crazy school got just before summer vacation...hang in there!

some sayings that I use frequently make me stop sometimes and say "What DOES that mean exactly!" hah!
