fun new photo app

I found a new photo app - Patty (Magpie's Nest) has been using it with fun results so I had to give it a whirl. It was developed by a college student and is free in the App Store for a limited time. Gloomlogue is the app's name.

I took these two city pictures a few months ago in downtown Seattle. It was a quintessential rainy day.

And here's a little snapshot of our Sadie - posing for the camera - wishing for a biscuit.

I love playing with photo apps. My favorites for the iPhone are Snapseed, Phonto, DistressFX, and now Gloomlogue.

Agree with you and Corrine ...DistressedFX is also a good one.

Cool app..I've seen Patty having fun with this as well. Haven't gotten an iphone yet...wonder if the app works on the ipad?

It probably is for iPad too - a lot of those apps do double duty

ooo you ARE having fun Kimmie...
Super colorful and interesting alterations to your photos!
Gloomlogue is an interesting name for the app when you see the variety of results you can get...
I have to admit I am hardly using my phone for telephone calls but for mostly the camera and playing with apps = Fun!
I will have to check out Phonto...
Jean Zoss told me about a great one called Diana which lets me do things I'd always wanted to do and could never get playing with PS...
Union is a real favorite of mine too...
Happy June to you and yours oxo

What wonderful vibrancy! Thanks for telling us about this app.
I thought of you last weekend in Victoria. We went to the Irish Times pub (where we had lunch with Elizabeth) for dinner and live music. I'm so grateful that we were able to do that last year!

I love this effect, Kim. I don't have an iPhone and it doesn't work on my iPad.
Such a shame, I was looking do forward to an interesting play!
